Friendship Place, Memory Support Unit at Oak Leaf Manor North gives the feel of a summer cottage, a country home, and a complete assisted living module, all in one.

Residents of Friendship Place enjoy daily activities and life skills, along with full compliment of programmed activities. Special events such as musical, slide and video presentations add varying levels of stimulation, coupled with familiar favorites like vintage television programs and old time radio shows.

The focus is on keeping each resident at the highest functioning level that he or she can obtain, while encouraging physical improvement and providing physicological support.

The unit is completely self supported, with an individual nursing, housekeeping and activity staff. Amenities are the same as the main building, although several are increased, such as personal laundry, llinen and housekeeping services.

Floor plans are identical to the main building of Oak Leaf Manor North. Transitions are handled professionally and smoothly, whether new residents are coming from home, the hospital or another facility, or simply transferring from within the community.

On-site physicological and physical therapy services are available.
